TXI™ Technology

Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging

TXI technology is designed to enhance image information by combining three image processing algorithms:1

  • Brightness correction of the dark part of the image
  • Color difference expansion processing
  • Texture component emphasis processing

TXI technology is not intended to replace histopathological sampling as a means of diagnosis.
TXI is a trademark of Olympus Corporation, Olympus America, Inc., and/or their affiliates.

ENDOCUFF VISION™ Device

The ENDOCUFF VISION device attaches to the distal end of a colonoscope and is designed to mechanically enhance mucosal exposure, allowing the endoscopist to manipulate colonic folds. The device is intended to improve visualization and control, which may assist in the detection of abnormalities in the colon.2

A rare but potential complication when using ENDOCUFF VISION™ device is the detachment of the device during the procedure. Be prepared to retrieve the device if this were to occur. Ensure ENDOCUFF VISION™ device is used only with compatible colonoscopes, that the colonoscope distal tip is in good condition, and that the device is fully seated on the distal tip prior to the application of lubricant to minimize the chance of detachment.

OLYSENSE™ Platform with CADDIE™ Device

Introducing our computer-aided detection device that uses cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology. CAD/AI software is part of the Olympus® Intelligent Endoscopy Ecosystem designed to aid the gastroenterologist in the detection of suspected colorectal polyps only during a colonoscopy and increase ADR.3

For detailed information regarding instructions for use, indications, contraindications, warnings, and precautions, please consult the device manual.

CADDIE software is not intended to replace a full patient evaluation, nor is it intended to be relied upon to make a primary interpretation of endoscopic procedures, medical diagnosis, or recommendations of treatment/course of action for patients. The CADDIE computer-assisted detection device is limited for use with standard white-light endoscopy imaging only.
